Benuta: Two Rugs Win Iconic Award

Bonn-based online rug retailer Benuta has won an Iconic Award 2026 for its Keith and Paul rugs from the Finest collection, taking the "Winner" title in the "Product: Material, Textile and Surface" category. Both hand-tufted designs, created by the company's in-house creative team, combine wool with shimmering lyocell. Keith reinterprets a houndstooth pattern in graphic form, while Paul plays with overlapping diagonal stripes that create a three-dimensional effect. "This Iconic Award 2026 is wonderful recognition for our entire team. Keith and Paul reflect our commitment to bold design and high-quality materials. The fact that we also convinced the jury with them makes us very proud," says Benuta CEO Monika Adler. The competition, staged by the German Design Council (Rat für Formgebung), honours projects in architecture, interior and product design each year.
